Gruen Precision - Day-Date - Pearl Snow Textured Dial - Cushion Case - Circa 1960-1970

If you are into dials with real character, this one delivers. The pearl-toned, deeply textured surface shimmers in changing light and gives off serious Grand Seiko vibes, think Shunbun or even the Taisetsu snow textures. It is a look you almost never see on vintage Gruen, and it makes the watch wear far above its weight.

The original stainless steel cushion case, reference 580-SS CD, keeps sharp geometry and that purposeful late 1960s presence without feeling oversized. Day and date are cleanly executed at three o'clock, and the black inset indices add contrast that lets the dial do the talking.
