Buy in Person — Los AngelesAbout This Watch
This one is all about the dial. The original lacquer likely began life blue and has aged into a one-of-a-kind, stardust patina like nothing i've ever seen. Deep blue islands with warm gilt toning that radiates from center to edge. Applied baton markers, with tritium lume that has a yellow glow, a framed date at 3, and the five-ball Eterna logo keep the look clean and mid-century. Inside is the first-generation ETA 2824 automatic, a caliber notable for its two gold-tone train wheels. It’s paired with a chainmail (Milanese) bracelet that suits the case and sets off this magical dial. The watch is running and keeps good time.
Dial: Unique, attractive patina (see macros)
Hands/Markers: Good condition with what i believe is original tritium lume.
Case/Crystal: Honest vintage wear with light marks; please review photos
Function: Running well at time of listing; date sets and advances.
Terms: Please review all photos carefully as they are a part of the listing. This is a vintage timepiece. Accuracy, power reserve, and water resistance are not guaranteed. Vintage watches may require periodic service. Performance can vary with wear, temperature, and position.
