Benrus Three-Star - Self-Winding Automatic - Turquoise Lume - Patina Dial - Circa 1955

A solid mid-century Benrus automatic with a lot of honest character. The three-star emblem sits on a warm aged dial with applied Arabic numerals and turquoise lume plots that give it a distinctly period look, the kind of detail that reads as genuinely mid-century rather than decorative. The numerals and markers remain shiny and attractive, and the gold-tone hands suit the watch well. The dial has aged naturally with visible patina but presents with real charm throughout.

The case is 10K rolled gold plate on top with a stainless steel back, showing expected wear for its age including plating loss and surface scratching consistent with a watch that was actually worn. The caseback is marked Benrus / Waterproof / Self Winding / Dustproof / 10K R.G.P. Top / Stainless Steel Back. The watch is currently fitted on a green leather strap chosen to complement the turquoise lume plots. The watch is running at time of listing.
