Regent - Black Gilt Dial - Military Style - Vintage Watch

Offered here is an early 1940s Regent Waterproof, built during the WWII era and carrying all the visual cues collectors associate with wartime field watches. The black gilt dial, aged numerals with original lume, and fixed-lug case place it squarely in the same design lineage as American and European military pieces like the A-11 worn during WWII. 

The dial is a deep black base with warm gilt minute track, bold luminous numerals, and matching gilt hands. It has the unmistakable feel of WWII-era tool watches, highly legible, and purpose built The lume has aged to a beautiful sandy tone that compliments the dials golden gilt print.
